Here’s Why Taylor Swift Skipped the 2022 Grammys Red Carpet
She is nominated for an award!

Taylor Swift shocked fans and Grammy-goers alike when she didn’t walk down the red carpet at the 2022 Grammys.
The singer, who is actually up for Album of the Year for “Evermore,” decided to forgo the red carpet. There’s no word on exactly why she decided to skip it, but she is only nominated for one award tonight, so it’s a good chance that she just wanted to keep things low-key the night. The show is also taking place in Las Vegas, so she might have decided not to travel all the way to Sin City. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t taking part in some Grammys festivities.
Lana Del Rey posted a photo with Taylor and Jack Antonoff that same night, so they definitely were all together celebrating together at some point.
Taylor and her BF Joe Alwyn were spotted at an Oscars party the week before, so she’s definitely still hitting up big events.
According to E!, Taylor was seen talking to Zoë Kravitz “for a while” and also chilled with Hailey Bieber for a moment but was mostly “introducing Joe to many people around her. She looked smitten and proud to be there with him.”
Another source said the couple “were very couple-y and cute and seemed happy to be there together. Taylor and Joe were together all night. He was leading her around introducing her to people, and Taylor also introducing people to Joe. When Joe was leading Taylor around, he held his arm around her back.”
As a reminder, Tay and Joe have been together since allll the way back in fall 2016, and they’ve managed to keep their relationship incredible low-key and private. They mostly don’t attend public events together, although they made an exception at the 2020 Golden Globes, where they were spotted sitting together at a table but made sure not to pose for any pics beforehand:This content is imported from twitter. And depending on where you lurk online, you may or may not be aware that there are also a ton of rumors floating around that these two are engaged. We have no proof of this, but!
